We are having church today, if you can get out of your driveway all right. The snow is blowing on the county roads. Use your best judgement and stay safe.
The women's event scheduled for this morning is cancelled due to the snow. Watch for a new date.

This is the cornerstone from the Old Stone Church (United Brethren) which was located at County Road 13 and 106. Members of the Old Stone Church and the James Church on Road 86 joined together for the 1916 revival to form Elbert Christian Church.
100 Year Charter Member Family - 7 generations of the Adams family have worshiped God at ECC. Kathy Adams Jessup and Helene Adams Gresham's great-grandparents, John Quincy and Angeline Adams; their grandparents, Sharold and Ethelina Adams; and their father, Merle Adams, were charter members in 1916. Kathy's children and some of her grandchildren were members. Today Helene worships with two of hers sons, John and Thomas, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her oldest son, Jim, also grew up in the church, but now lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter.
100 Year Charter Member Family - Vince Kashner's great-grandparents, A. James and Bessie Ramey were charter members, as were his grandfather, Earl Ramey, and his mother, Alice Ramey Kashner. Today, Vince attends with his wife, Mindy, and daughters MadaLynne and Makayla. A 5 generation family at ECC. Vince's aunt, Dorothy, also was a member and attended the celebration with the family.
100 Year Charter Member Family - Don and Alfred Cole's mother, Dorothy Dittemore Cole, was a charter member as were her parents, Ad and Lula Dittemore. And Don and Alfred's other grandmother, Nellie Cole, was also a charter member. Don Cole still faithfully attends ECC at the age of 90.

#MinisterMonday Todd Harrison served as the Youth Minister 6/1/2004-7/1/2005 during the time Bill McCarty was minister. Thank you for your service, Todd! We know it wasn't easy blazing a trail as the first youth minister.
#MinisterMonday Bill McCarty was the minister of ECC August 13, 1995 to May of 2000. He left to work as a cowboy on a ranch in North Park and returned November 1, 2003 until January 7, 2007. Thank you for your service, Bill and Glenda!
